Thanks to a new and highly advanced process using the ICON® material, it is now possible to remove enamel stains without drilling even in a single treatment quickly, effectively and above all painlessly.
During treatment, with careful gum protection and conditioning of the affected enamel areas, the white spots become structurally receptive to the surface-filling resin material ICON®. By absorbing into the enamel, ICON® can create a beautiful, even and durable surface. The appearance of the treated area becomes very similar to that of healthy enamel, making spots largely invisible.
The treatment is best used to treat relatively fresh white spots that have formed after the braces have been removed, or discolouration caused by mineral loss. However, it is also very effective for lightening older spots.
